The TAC L2P program is a community‐based volunteer program assisting young learner drivers (aged from 16 – 23) facing significant barriers to completing their 120 required hours. Each learner driver is matched with a fully licensed volunteer mentor who teachers the learner safe driving skills and provides much needed driving practice so that they can achieve their goal of 120 hours to obtain their probationary license.
The learner driver and mentor will use a vehicle generously donated by Wangaratta Mazda, which is regularly detailed by Clean and Shiny Vehicle Cleaning Services and fitted with new tyres when required by A1 Tyre Power to keep our vehicle in top condition.
The TAC L2P program is funded by the TAC and managed by the Department of Transport (DoT, formerly VicRoads), supported by the Victorian Government and coordinated by NESAY.
