Better Futures
Better Futures/Home Stretch is a program for young people who have been in the care of Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH). The program provides support to young people aged 15.9 – 21 years to help with their transition to independence.
The young person is allocated a case practitioner, who assists them in reaching their independent living goals, working with the young person to achieve their dreams and aspirations.
Referrals are received from DFFH while the young person is in care, from permanent care and from other Better Futures/Home Stretch agencies.
