Transitional Assistance Program (TAP) Case Practitioner

NESAY is a not for profit award winning community organisation that has been operating in North East Vic for the past 40 years. This full time position will enable you to work with young people in our community who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of such.

The TAP case practitioner position will enable you to work with young people aged 16-25years who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of such. 

Through a trauma informed and person centred framework, TAP works with young people to address their needs while developing independent living skills in a supported and coordinated manner, with the goal of achieving sustainable housing. 

In this position you will work closely with other programs at NESAY and with external agencies to create opportunities for young people to have safe and secure housing.

This position is short term as it is a Family Leave contract until 31 January 2025.  

You can work from NESAYs offices in Wangaratta or Benalla, with flexible workplace arrangements offered.

Team leader, Transitional Services and Better Futures Intake & Response Coordinator

NESAY is a not for profit award winning community organisation that has been operating in North East Vic for the past 40 years. This position is a leadership role within our NESAY team.

This position has a dual focus of providing leadership to the Transitional Services team and coordinating the Better Futures/Home Stretch program (2 days allocated to each component).

Working closely with the Transitional Services Manager, you will lead through providing mentoring and day to day support to a multi-disciplinary team. This position forms part of the operational leadership team at NESAY.

In your coordinator role for Better Futures, you will manage incoming referrals & allocations, providing interim response when required and attend partnership leadership meetings. 

You can work from NESAYs offices in Wangaratta or Benalla, with flexible workplace arrangements offered.
